Hi,Did you search the CLSID in registry and related service ?Since this is COM exception , you can try check the accountpermissions for that service in DCOM.Try and let us know for further workaround.RegardsXavier Ravi

Looks like the CLSID is SPRequest. You will want to check out permissions on that component and see who had rights to use it.

Hi, The issue may be caused by the OWSSVR.DLL file being corrupted on SharePoint server. You can try to copy OWSSVR.DLL file from another WFE server to the production server. (Backup the OWSSVR.DLL before copying) Location of the OWSSVR.DLL: c:\program files\common files\MicrosoftShared\Web server Extensions\12\ISAPI\ and looked for owssvr.dll Let me know if I misunderstand you. Xue-Mei,Thanks for you post. I had the same issue as poster above. I had a .net application which use sharepoint some functionalities by using object model. This sharepoint site is on port 80. It works fine for several months. Today I am going to deploy a new release version, it has been tested in test enviroment which has same setting with production and evertying work fine. I just copy all the .net code from web folder into production folder. It works and everything goes fine for 20-30 minutes. When I checked it again after 30 minutes, there are errors. as below. I tried iisreset and everything start to work fine again. After 10 minutes, check it again, same error. Please help, really urgent for these production error. You mean here copy file, does you think it will solve the problem, why it works everytime I did the IIS reset? then stop to working after 5-10 minutes? Location of the OWSSVR.DLL: c:\program files\common files\MicrosoftShared\Web server Extensions\12\ISAPI\ and looked for owssvr.dll It is production issue, so I need be careful. Thanks ========================================================================================Timestamp: 6/18/2009 10:15:45 PM Message: Error has occurred when page loaded, which comes from method Page_Load() of Quote.aspx.cs. Hi,Replacing OWSSVR.DLL did not resolve problem in our case and we got the error back after week's time. Its been 3-4 weeks we are struggling with this problem. Any other suggestions / workaround? The only temporary fix for this error is to do IISRESET. The biggest problem is there are no clear steps to reproduce this error. It just re-appears after few days. We are using Windows 2008 / SharePoint 2007 platform and there is one custom SharePoint application deployed on this server which uses InfoPath form services.Error:Server Error in '/' Application.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {BDEADEE2-C265-11D0-BCED-00A0C90AB50F} failed due to the following error: 800703fa. I just made 2x iisreset - that worked for me!
June 8th, 2010 2:57pm

I'm sorry, could you elaborate on the 2x iisreset? We're having the same problem and its critical considering we're rolling out a product that is dependent on IIS working right on Monday, June 14. So far the only solution we have is to simply restart IIS, but this is not a good solution as it's occurring several times a day :(.

Workaround: Doing an IISRESET solving the problem but it is solving temporarily. Open IIS and go to your site. And find the application pool. Go to application pool, click Advanced settings, change the value for "Load User Profile" to "true".
July 8th, 2010 3:26pm

What I am finding in my environment is that there is a permissions issue with the app pool account, which causes several app pools to stop intermittently. I don't know exactly where the problem is yet, but when I set the identity to my most privileged account, I stopped having problems.
